Anthophyta-
Anthophyta is a group known as the flowering plants. Mean that these kinda flowers bare flowers. Just because all the plants in this phylum bare flowers that don’t mean that it is always obvious that they do have them.
They have their seeds hidden inside of the fruit that they give.
They have around 235,000 different species that we know about.
They rely on their seeds to spread their seeds so that their plants can get around even more. They sometimes use Haploid type of seeds because they’re small and easily carried by the wind.
Classes
One of the two classes under this phlum is Class Monocotyledones. The plants in this phlym got this name because it only has one cotyledon. (Mono meaning one). The other one of the class is Class Dicotyledones. They got this name because they have two cotyledon. (Di meaning Two).
